The All-New 2025 Ford Mustang® GTD
The all-American muscle car just got a major upgrade in the form of the all-new, limited-production Ford Mustang GTD. The supercar is above and beyond any version of the Mustang you have ever seen, with real racing credentials that include a jaw-dropping Nürburgring time of sub-seven minutes and purposeful design that transforms the racecar from a strict track affair to barely-street legal.
Barely Street Legal Performance
The Mustang GTD takes cues from the track-only Mustang GT3 racecar, breaking from the restrictions of track regulations to create the fastest street-legal Mustang. A supercharged 5.2-liter V8 delivers over 800 horsepower and a top speed of over 190 mph. A rear-mounted eight-speed dual-clutch transaxle and carbon fiber driveshaft offer quick shifting. Every element is designed to increase performance and improve aerodynamics. With a hydraulic wing, a nearly perfect 50/50 weight distribution, and 20-inch forged aluminum wheels, the Mustang GTD grabs the road through tight twists and turns for a controlled yet unbridled driving experience.
Interior & Technology Specs
Although the trunk is full of performance enhancement equipment like suspension and cooling elements, eliminating any real cargo capacity, the cabin is styled for comfort and casual cruising on paved roads. The interior design takes notes from F-22 fighter jet cockpits and has some unique elements sourced from actual aircraft pieces, including the titanium in the paddle shifters, gear shift rotary knob, and the serial placard. The digital cockpit is made up of a 12.4-inch digital gauge cluster and a 13.2-inch infotainment touchscreen that offers hands-free connectivity. The screens are powered by videogame graphics made possible by the Unreal® gaming engine.

The Ford Mustang GTD will be an extremely limited production model, with only 1,000 expected to make it to production. It's also expected to start around $325,000, so most of us can keep the Mustang GTD firmly in dream car status.
